About the Doctor

G. Curtis Dailey, DDS

Dr. Dailey received his Doctor of Dental Science degree from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry. His academic honors include membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon, an honorary dental society. After being commissioned into the army, he completed a one-year general dentistry residency at Fort Sam Houston. Dr. Dailey then served as Deputy Dental Surgeon and Preventive Dentistry Officer at the Ft. Monroe Dental Clinic. Later, he completed his advanced post-graduate training in Orthodontics at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry.

Since Dr. Dailey established his private orthodontic practice in Hampton, he has completed over 2800 hours of continuing education, with special emphasis in growth and development; functional jaw orthopedics; facial aesthetics, and adult orthodontic treatment; and he continues to stay on the cutting edge of orthodontic technology and treatment.

He has held many leadership roles in the Peninsula Dental Society, including past president and military liaison for the community. He is a member of the Virginia Dental Association and chaired and served on various committees on both the local and state levels. Dr. Dailey is also a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Virginia Orthodontic Association, the Tidewater Orthodontic Society, and the Eastern Virginia Orthodontic Study Club.

Dr. Dailey's professional accomplishments include being selected as a Fellow of the Virginia Dental Association and as a member of the Pierre Fauchard Academy International Honor Dental Society.

He is a past member of the Hampton Rotary Club and Kiwanis Club of Poquoson. He was also a board member of the Hampton YMCA.
